Open Meets

Open meets are open competition which are open to all squad swimmers aged nine and up. Generally there are no qualifying times so everyone can enter with their latest PB. You can enter as many events as you like. They normally consist of 50m or 100m events across all four strokes plus IM events.

We normally go to two or three meets a year. It is a great way to improve your PB and to bond with your team mates; they are great fun though some can be long days. Entries are often oversubscribed so we have to get our forms in early for more information contact Hazel Sadler at OpenMeetSecretary@MildenhallSharks.co.uk. It helps if everyone returns their forms promptly!
