Child Protection Policy

Mildenhall & District Swimming Club will continue to strive to ensure that all parents and carers view swimming as a sport where children and vulnerable adults are free from harm and where child protection is an integral part of the culture.

1. We will also ensure that all our teaching staff and official are carefully selected, trained and supervised.
   
   
2. We will ensure that all staff is CRB checked.
   
   
3. Mildenhall & District Swimming Club will endeavour to gain the “Safer Activities For Everyone (SAFE) certificate.
   
   
4. Mildenhall & District Swimming Club has a Child Welfare Officer who is always available should any swimmer need any help.
   
   
5. Mildenhall & District Swimming Club will ensure that all in their care are SAFE.
